About this Event

This workshop will dive into the future of Responsible AI in Africa, from different perspectives. We are partnering with Montreal AI Ethics Institute (MAIEI) on this event;

To prepare for the discussion, please complete the assigned readings below beforehand.

Our events use a flipped classroom model:

  1. You do the reading(s) before showing up to the event.
  2. When you show up, we split up into groups to discuss and take notes.
  3. Afterward, we reconvene to share our findings with the larger group.

To fulfill our commitment to open access knowledge and building public competence, we will be sharing publicly any outputs resulting from the discussions had during the event.
